How much does a Stairlift cost?
Getting a straight answer to this question can be a major challenge - so we're going to try and give the most straightforward answer we can.
Prices will vary due to options or features required, length of staircase, your location, but these figures should be fairly accurate guidelines for you;
New Straight Stairlift
Delivered, but not including installation
- Costs between $2000 and $2800.
Delivered and installed
- Costs between $3000 and $5000.
Reconditioned Straight Stairlift
Delivered, but not including installation
- Costs between $1500 and $2000.
Delivered and installed
- Costs between $2300 and $4000.
New Curved Stairlift
Delivered and installed
- Costs between $5500 and $15,000.
Curved rail stairlifts are custom made for a particular staircase - therefore it is highly unlikely to find a 'used' or 'reconditioned' curved rail stairlift to match your stairs. Likewise due to the complexity and precise tolerances needed in fitting such a stairlift it is not advised to attempt 'self-installation'.
